Top Train Games on iOS in Romania: Q3 2025 Performance

In the third quarter of 2025, the train game genre on iOS in Romania saw varied performances across the top five applications. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Train Station 3 from Pixel Federation Games showed a significant fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at about $886 in late June and ending the quarter with $753. Weekly downloads had an upward spike in early September, reaching around 358. The active user count experienced an increase towards the end of the quarter, from 191 to 263.

Train Station 2: Railroad Sim also by Pixel Federation Games, saw its highest revenue of approximately $622 in late July. Despite a drop in downloads mid-quarter, the app maintained a modest weekly active user base, peaking at 287 in late July.

Dinosaur Polo Club's Mini Metro reported steady weekly revenue, reaching a high of $113 at the end of September. However, there were no downloads recorded during this period.

Ticket to Ride® by Marmalade Game Studio maintained a stable revenue flow, fluctuating around $132 at its peak in early July. Similar to Mini Metro, it recorded no downloads during the quarter.

Lastly, Rail Nation from Travian Games GmbH had a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at $110 in early September. Like some of its counterparts, it did not report any downloads.
